Week 3 in the US has been a mixture of getting super busy at work, workout injuries and weekend adventures.
On Sunday, a bunch of us spent 6 hours kayaking down the Shenandoah River in Virginia. It was loads of fun and super tiring in the same time!
The river has been overfilled with water from last week’s storms but it reduced back down to a normal level over the weekend with a couple small rapids here and there.
We made a kayake island racing down the river yelling “paddle! paddle! paddle!”. Had gummy bears for snacks. Watch dragonflies of blue or red fly around me. Saw fishes jump out of the water and the occasional herd of cows at the waters edges.
There were other people on kayakes, canoes and floaties. People paddling, fishing or just chilling with a beverage in their hands.
It was a good long and exciting day! 🚣🛶🌊
